The Joint Commission Accreditation Is In Jeopardy – SIGN, DATE, & TIME Your Orders
Attention Physicians: We are on alert from The Joint Commission that if we do not achieve and sustain compliance on the authentication of verbal (telephone) orders our accreditation status will change. It is absolutely imperative that we have 100% physician compliance on all verbal (telephone) orders.

Portal Improvements - Feedback from Physicians has resulted in the following changes to the electronic documentation and PORTAL options for improved physician access to information.

Autofaxing patient reports has been replaced with BHS Medicity Novo: The previous autofax system has been replaced with BHS Medicity Novo.  Medicity Novo is a push delivery system with the option to receive patient reports (i.e. Lab, Path, Rad, H&P's, Dischg Summaries, Consults, 2D-Echo, Operative) to your EMR or on a client dropbox in the office.  For more information please contact Connie Reed at 297-9721 or email creed@baptisthealthsystem.com
