Welcome to the Summer Cancer Care Update

Hello Readers,

Well, many agree that cancer appears to be prevalent and that there is nothing we can do to prevent or stop the inevitable but I disagree. The most common form of cancer in the United States and the world is skin cancer. It remains the leading cause of cancer, yes even more common than lung and breast cancer combined.

Sharon Wilks, MD FACP
Chair of the Cancer Committee, Baptist Health System.
